At Adverse Winds, we are actively creating hope in the lives of others. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to live life to the fullest-personally, professionally, and socially.

We believe that individuals should be given the opportunity to realize and strive to reach their full day-to-day living potential. We address the needs of individuals with personal, social, emotional, physical and situational disabling conditions and promote their capabilities for independent living, personal adjustments, social inclusion and employment sustainability.

FROM OUR FOUNDER
"We all live under the same sky and look at the same horizon yet rarely do we travel along the same paths. In life, strong winds may blow and leave us scratching our heads. Confused about all the aspects of our lives that seem to be going wrong. We wonder if anyone else understands what we are going through. I believe it is the duty of those who can, to create hope in the lives of others. We begin with learning a new way to view life. Education is the key to understanding. The first thing taught is that restoration, adjustment and recovery are possible. Recovery can be had by all that work for it. The process may not be an easy one, but it is a simple one."
